Three weeks after you've flown home a PlatePass invoice lands — forty-eight dollars of convenience fees on twelve dollars of actual tolls. Cross to Europe and it gets stranger: a Paris-to-Tuscany loop touches Liber-T, ASFiNAG and Telepass, and one overnight past Madrid leaves a Via-T charge that arrives two months later.

No transponder swap at every state line, no surprise envelope three months after you've flown home.

  Today: E-ZPass, SunPass, PlatePass and FasTrak across the US East and West coasts; Telepass, Liber-T, Via-T and ASFiNAG across continental Europe. The roster grows as we onboard new authorities — when we add a region, we say so plainly rather than listing it before it works.

  Most rentals come with their own toll-pass, billed back at a steep convenience markup. roadpay.cc works as a plate-based fallback when you'd rather not hand the rental agency the keys to your toll bills, but we don't replace an in-car transponder you've already paid for.
• 06What if roadpay.cc misses a toll?+
  Cameras and transponders aren't perfect; nothing in this category is. If a charge slips past us and the authority forwards it to you, we settle it on our side — no convenience fee, no penalty.
• 07What does roadpay.cc know about my driving?+
  Your plate, your billing address, the tolls we settle on your behalf. No GPS trace, no driver-behaviour profile, no resale to third parties. The minimum to pay your tolls — and nothing else.
